Navy Brooklyn Brownstone

The Alvarados renovated an 1890s brownstone that had been split into three apartments in the 1970s. They restored it back to a single home and gutted the kitchen down to the brick.

Navy Blue Shaker bases anchor the space. The original tin ceiling was restored and re-painted; the cabinet color was chosen to harmonize with the warm brass of the restored original pendants.

The pantry tall is the hero piece — eight feet of continuous cabinetry that hides a full-size fridge, a coffee station, and the microwave. From the dining room all you see is cabinet.
