Looks like a million dollars, priced like a reasonable remodel

I ordered 14 Shaker bases for our craftsman kitchen. They arrived on a flatbed, fully assembled, wrapped like they were going to the Met. The joinery is tight, the paint is flawless, and my contractor said they were the easiest cabinets he's installed in ten years.

    The solid-maple difference is real

I priced the same layout at the big box stores and Cabinets of America came in about 8% higher, but the doors are solid maple instead of MDF — you can feel it. Two years in and not a single hinge has drifted or a panel shown a hairline.

    Beautiful, small fit issue

One of the cabinets arrived with a slightly warped face frame. Support overnighted a replacement door and it was a non-issue. Star off only because I had to wait an extra week. Everything else was perfect.

Our 1920s kitchen finally has bones

These made my ninety-year-old kitchen look like it was built on purpose instead of accumulated over decades. The Natural Oak finish pairs perfectly with the original subway tile.

    Worth every penny

I agonized for months over whether to spend this much. Three months in I tell everyone I know — this is the one thing in our renovation that I would not change.
