Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using cabinetsofamerica.com or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or place an order.

2. Orders and pricing

All prices shown are in US dollars and include full assembly and finishing. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and order size. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors discovered after an order is placed — if corrected upward, you will be contacted before we charge your card.

Orders over $2,500 qualify for complimentary white-glove shipping within the continental United States. Orders under that threshold are subject to a flat $175 curbside freight fee.

3. Lead times

Because every cabinet is built to order, our standard lead time is 3–4 weeks from order to shipment, plus 5–10 business days for ground freight or white-glove delivery. Glass-front cabinets, pantry cabinets, and custom-dimension items may require an additional 1–2 weeks. We will notify you in writing if the estimated delivery date slips by more than five business days.

4. Returns and exchanges

Stock-configuration cabinets may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund less a 15% restocking fee and return shipping costs. Custom-dimension cabinets (those ordered with non-standard widths, heights, or depths via concierge) are non-returnable. Defective cabinets are not subject to restocking fees — we replace them at our cost under the warranty described below.

5. Limited 10-year warranty

Cabinets of America warrants its cabinets against manufacturing defects for ten years from delivery under normal household use. The warranty covers structural integrity of the cabinet box, adhesion of the factory finish, and performance of all hardware (hinges, glides, dampers). The warranty is transferable to new homeowners at no cost.

The warranty does not cover damage from water infiltration, impact damage, improper installation, or modifications made after delivery. Normal patina on wood finishes and slight color shift under UV exposure are not considered defects.

6. Intellectual property

All content on cabinetsofamerica.com — text, photography, product descriptions, configurator interface — is the property of Cabinets of America or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of it for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Your design configurations are yours. You may save, share, and reference them freely. If you publish photos of a finished kitchen featuring our cabinets, we love it — tag us on Instagram.

7. Limitation of liability

Our total liability under any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost profits, installation labor, remediation of secondary damage — except where prohibited by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, except for small-claims matters, which may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted to this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
