Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone number, and payment information. When you use our configurator, we store the selections you make so you can return to them later. When you request a sample kit or newsletter, we store your email.

We do not collect social-security numbers, government IDs, medical history, or any category of sensitive personal data beyond what is required to ship and service your order.

2. How we use it

We use your information to fulfill your order, communicate about shipping and warranty, and, with your explicit opt-in, to send design inspiration and product updates. We do not use your data to build marketing profiles for resale, and we do not allow third-party trackers on our checkout pages.

3. Who we share it with

We share your information only with service providers necessary to complete your order: payment processing (Stripe, Affirm), shipping carriers (white-glove and freight partners), and our email service provider (for transactional messages). We do not sell or rent your data.

If required by a lawful subpoena or court order, we will disclose information as required by law and will notify you unless prohibited from doing so.

4. Cookies & tracking

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in, maintain your cart, and remember your configurator selections. We use privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible) to understand site usage in aggregate — no individual tracking, no cross-site profiles, no ad pixels.

5. Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, and to ask us to delete your data (subject to warranty-retention requirements). Email privacy@cabinetsofamerica.com and we will respond within 30 days.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. New York, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah residents have comparable rights under their respective state privacy laws.

6. Retention

We retain order records for ten years to honor the warranty. We retain email-marketing subscribers until you unsubscribe. We retain configurator-only sessions for 90 days.
