Miller's Urban Loft
A kitchen by Jared Miller
Jared converted a 1930s garment-district warehouse into a 1,800-square-foot loft. The kitchen occupies one end of the open plan, in full view of the living area.
We designed a single run of flat-panel base cabinets in Modern Slate, paired with open-shelf wall units in the same finish. The visual weight of the cabinets anchors the otherwise-airy space.
The brushed-brass bar pulls were Jared's first request — they pick up the warm tones from the concrete floor and the exposed ductwork. The pairing looks studied but took three sample rounds to land.
